  Twenty euros represent   in France a dish of the day in a restaurant, a box of Lego, a Tshirt  ... But in Madagascar what does that worth ? 

 

In Madagascar, for an orphan this represents 1 month of food,i.e. the subsistence minimum, excluding school and medical fees in particular. This is why your donation is extremely precious for us and especially for them, and this is why we have symbolically fixedethis amount for the annual fee to become a member of our association.

Our current operating costs are around 20€ per month per child including school fees for the operation of the building and medical...

The Main de l'Espérance association is committed to directly transferring the funds to those who need them, our money management is totallydisinterested, Andthrifty, each Euro spent is either directly useful to the project (food, school effects, etc.) or an investment for future benefits (purchase of vanilla spices or Malagasy arts, etc.). We undertake to reduce our operating and management costs for the association to a minimum, and report annually to our members on the management of the association's funds in a detailed manner.

The association can issue tax receipts falling within the scope of articles 200 1.b and 238 bis 1.a   of the general tax code, giving rise to a reduction in income tax of 66%.

• 3 Sponsorship : a sponsorship system has just been set up, it consists of the main lines:

  • Upon signature of a sponsorship contract between the association and the sponsor

  • the money paid is for the benefit   of the orphanage and not of a particular child, so as not to create inequalities within the orphanage between the children.

  • The amount of the contribution is 25€ per month or more (monthly donations are always possible without sponsorship)

  • Emotional ties and news from the sponsored child for the sponsor (news, mail, etc.)

  • The sponsor becomes an active or passive member of the association free of charge.

  • Sponsorship donations entitle you to a donation receipt allowing a tax reduction in france according to articles 200 and 238bis of the CGI.
