Fianarantsoa Orphanage:
In partnership with the local association "Akany Soa Emanoela", the hand of hope participates in the financing of the needs of the children of the orphanage (food, school effects, clothes...) .
The Fianarantsoa orphanage is located about 400km south of Antananarivo, the capital. The building was erected on the private funds of the Ledru family (the president, and the secretary of the association). It is currently home of 80 children.
On site 30m from the orphanage, a large house is intended to receive all people who can and want to help us on site:

Aid to the association "Quartier Libre" Madagascar
The association Quartier libre, takes care of children in France in so-called difficult neighborhoods, by providing regular entertainment throughout the year, around games and a snack, to bring values and support to families. Colonies are also organized during the holidays.
Since 2013, Quartier libre has been established in Madagascar, particularly around Antananarivo, and recently in Fianarantsoa and soon in other places. La Main de l'Espérance provides logistical support to Quartier Libre Madagascar, and in particular provided snacks for the thousands of children present at each activity. The Fianarantsoa orphanage also served as a training site for volunteers on site during the last mission in September 2014.
Land for self-sufficiency of the orphanage, dispensary and others...:
At the end of May 2015, land was purchased near Fianarantsoa, by Emmanuel and Vanissa, in order to develop an agricultural activity to meet the needs of the orphanage. On this land a center named Akany Soafiaina has opened, it includes a school where about 100 children from the surroundings of the bush around the land are educated, several guest houses, a reception center for single mothers, and plantations, such as 3000 pineapples, 300 mango trees, 200 lychees moringa citrus fruits, but also beekeeping ...
The construction of a dispensary in front of the orphanage to treat the most destitute ended in 2016 ... (see photos in the slideshow), another land was acquired at Camp Robin about 3 hours drive from Fianarantsoa, where a coffee plantation has started, in the long term the same projects as in Soafiaina will be created.
